The moon has always captivated our eye and we got excited with this motif! It seems impossible that such a large body may remain under the earth's gravity field, and yet it does. Such a relationship does not happen with any other planet of our solar system. For some very interesting information about the moon, take a look at the work of Vasin and Shervakov, from the Soviet Academy of Sciences, whom in the 70's advanced this hypothesis.
